At the 2016 ASI Council meeting, a review of ASI's Special Interest Groups was proposed. The goal is to revitalise existing SIGs and to generate a platform to create new SIG's.   This review process will hopefully result in several active SIGs running lots of activities for the benefit of our membership, actively involving the membership and spanning across different fields of interests of ASI members.
