Associate Editor, Clinical & Translational Immunology

Applications Close : 23 September 2021

Job Description

Clinical & Translational Immunology is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Editor.

The primary responsibility of the Associate Editor is to support the CTI team in maintaining and building CTI as a definitive source of primary immunology research. The Associate Editor will be part of a team consisting of the Editor-in-Chief, eight Deputy Editors, two Editorial Assistants and the ASI General Manager. The appointee will be responsible for coordinating the promotion of CTI and its content through social media networks, helping to create and organise content, and contribute to new initiatives that engage readers and the public to interact with CTI. In addition to these activities, the Associate Editor may work with the team on other initiatives that advance the journal and its content. The CTI Editorial Team adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

This is an exciting and dynamic role within the CTI team and would best suit an Early Career Researcher. Our ideal Associate Editor is creative and passionate about engaging readers with the cutting-edge science published in CTI.  Proficiency in using social media (Twitter) is essential, and familiarity with web content management is desirable.

The term of service for this volunteer position is from Dec 2021 to December 2024. Interested individuals are invited to submit an expression of interest that includes a curriculum vitae and a letter of interest that states their relevant experience and why this position is of interest.

Applications will be accepted until September 23rd 2021.
