Education - An overview
This purpose of the Education Focused SIG is to support and promote the teaching and learning of immunology at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. The group aims to facilitate the sharing of resources and promote networking opportunities between education-focused immunologists.
ASI Cheers-Buchan Education Award
At our 2019 AGM, we updated the ASI Constitution to better reflect our commitment to Immunology education.
In Section 2.1, the ASI Purpose now reads 'The advancement of the science and education of Immunology'.
In alignment with this, we created the ASI Cheers-Buchan Education Award in 2020.
Many congratulations to the winners of the ASI Cheers-Buchan Education Award:
2020 – Prof. Scott Byrne
2021 – A/Prof. Maurizio Costabile
2022 – Dr. Daniel Clarke
