🌏 "Discovery Tour at WEHI"
🗓️ April 29th 2022 at 11:30am - 1pm
🏷️ FREE PUBLIC EVENT
Go behind the scenes of one of Victoria's leading medical research institutes
As part of the Day of Immunology Victoria 2022, organised by the Australia and New Zealand Society for Immunology (ASI), the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI) is opening its doors to the public.
Discovery tours provide a unique opportunity for the community to find out more about medical research, see our state-of-the-art facilities, learn about our exciting discoveries and talk to passionate scientists about their research.
WEHI boasts a long history of significant medical discoveries, including the 1960 Nobel Prize-winning “discovery of acquired immunological tolerance” by former director Sir Macfarlane Burnet.
WEHI is where the world’s brightest minds collaborate and innovate to make life-changing scientific discoveries that help people live healthier for longer.
