Join our Public Lecture on 'Autoimmunity'

Learn more about your immune system and why it is important during health and disease.
This year we are hosting a public lecture on "Autoimmunity”.

This is a free event so don't miss this wonderful opportunity.

The topic will be discussed by three of Australia’s top immunologists:

Dr Kristen Fairfax, University of Tasmania on ‘What is Autoimmunity?
Professor Alberta Hoi, Head of Lupus Clinic, Monash Medical Centre on ‘Lupus
A/Professor Jason Trubiano, Head of Centre for Antibiotic Allergy and Research (CAAR), Austin Health on ‘Drug Allergy

The public lecture will be followed by a Q&A session and refreshments.

The Doherty Institute is located at 792 Elizabeth Street, opposite the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, please enter via revolving doors at Elizabeth St entrance. Ticketed parking is available on-street and at surrounding car parking facilities.

The purpose of the Day of Immunology is to strengthen public awareness of immunology as a basis for individual health and well-being.
Established in 2005 by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), the success of Day of Immunology led to it being celebrated worldwide since 2007. Under the auspices of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology (ASI) and other generous sponsors, Day of Immunology has been celebrated in Victoria since 2009.
