The University of Sydney is hosting an exciting Day of Immunology event at Charles Perkins Centre on the 29th of April from 3 – 5pm.

3-4pm: Poster Viewing and judging
4-5pm: Seminars will cover the topic of “From Bench to Bedside and Beyond”. 
Hear from two Charles Perkins Centre group leaders:

• Associate Professor Inês Pires Da Silva is a medical oncologist at Melanoma Institute Australia investigating responses to immunotherapy.
• Professor Jamie Triccas is involved in several vaccine programmes, most recently supported by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) to develop a broadly protective SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.

The purpose of the Day of Immunology is to strengthen public awareness of immunology as a basis for individual health and well-being.
Established in 2005 by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), the success of Day of Immunology led to it being celebrated worldwide since 2007.
