As part of the Day of Immunology activities in Victoria, Deakin School of Medicine is proud to invite members of the public to attend our Discovery Tour, where our passionate research scientists in the field of infection & immunity will give a talk about their projects and how they positively impact the world.  

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to ask questions & chat to some of our passionate research staff and PhD students about their work and potential career pathways.  

This is a free event open to all members of the public.

5:00 – 5:30: Networking & scientific display 

This event will be held in the Health Education & Research Building (HERB) located at Barwon Health.  

At Deakin School of Medicine, our Infection, Immunity and Cancer team undertakes discovery-based research focused on understanding the molecular basis of health and disease at the individual and population level. Deakin University and Barwon Health partners together to form the research network Centre for Innovation in Infectious Disease and Immunology Research (CIIDIR), that leverages existing strengths in human infectious disease and immunology research.
