The Margaret Baird Lectureship Award is a prestigious ASI award given each year to an individual that has made an impact with their scientific work and a significant contribution to supporting and mentoring women in immunology.

The Lectureship aims to provide a platform for the awardee to engage with individuals at institutions across ASI branches, delivering seminars on their research and promoting equity in science.

In 2021, this Lectureship will be celebrated with an online event on:

Tuesday March 9th, 2021
at 10.30am WA / 12pm NT / 12.30pm QLD / 1pm SA / 1.30pm NSW/ACT/VIC/TAS / 3.30pm NZ

Due to the March 8th public holiday for some states, we are celebrating International Women's Day on March 9th.

Congratulations to our awardees Dr Michelle Boyle (2020) and Dr Jess Borger (2019)! 

Michelle and Jess will be discussing their research and highlighting a key challenge or opportunity for gender equity in immunology for discussion.
