Immunology & Cell Biology
ASSOCIATE EDITOR, Social Media and Web Content

applications are now invited

Immunology & Cell Biology is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Editor to support the ICB Editorial Team.

The primary responsibility of the Associate Editor is to support the Editor-in-Chief in maintaining and building ICB as a definitive source of primary immunology research. The Associate Editor will be part of an Editorial Team consisting of the Editor-in-Chief, four Deputy Editors, two News & Commentary Editors, and an Editorial Assistant. She or he will be responsible for coordinating the promotion of ICB and its content through social media networks, helping to create and organise web content, and contribute to new initiatives that engage ICB readers and the public to interact with ICB. In addition to these activities, the Associate Editor may work with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Team on other initiatives that advance the journal and its content. The ICB Editorial Team adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

This is an exciting and dynamic role within the ICB team and would best suit an Early Career Researcher. Our ideal Associate Editor is passionate about science communication and engaging others frequently with the cutting-edge science published in ICB.  Proficiency in using social media (Twitter) and familiarity with web content management would be favourable.

The term of service for this honorary position is from 1 March 2020 to 31 December 2022. Interested individuals are invited to submit an expression of interest that includes a curriculum vitae and a letter of interest and qualifications.

Applications will be accepted until 31 January 2020. Please email them to Anne La Flamme, [email protected].
