Join us at the upcoming 6th Annual Education Special Interest Group Meeting with a focus on Neurodivergent Teaching Practices in Immunology! This event is essential for educators dedicated to inclusive practice. Keynote speakers will deepen your understanding of learning equity for all students, with a special focus on supporting neurodivergent learners. The ED SIG invites members to share their experiences in a special ‘snapshot of teaching practice’ session. Discover innovative strategies tried and tested by our members in immunology teaching forums that enhance classroom experiences and foster more inclusive learning environments for all students. Submit abstracts by 11th 16th April 23:59 AEST

We would love to hear from you, our members, on strategies that you have tried (and also failed with) in our ‘snapshot of teaching practice’ session. Please submit a 200-word abstract of your teaching practice or experience. We are not looking for formal pedagogy research, rather we would love to share successes and failures with our members to support our teaching journeys. Four 10-minute talks will be selected from abstracts to present at the conference session.

Should the event be cancelled due to COVID-related restrictions, the Organising Committee shall endeavour to reschedule.  All participants who have paid a registration fee may receive a full refund on the registration fee, but all participants hereby indemnify and hold the Organising Committee unaccountable for all out-of-pocket travel and quarantine -related costs, damages and expenses.
